A VC fund needed to process more deals than their analysts could handle without adding headcount. We built an autonomous agent that pulls startups from Crunchbase, PitchBook, and specialized databases, scores each founder, sizes the market, and writes full investment memos with risk ratings. Everything syncs to Salesforce and Airtable as it happens. Weekly reports surface top deals, score distributions, and sector breakdowns for partners. The pipeline hit $180M in value across 2,400+ sourced deals.

The fund had three analysts doing deal sourcing manually. Good analysts, but they couldn't keep up with the volume partners wanted to evaluate. We mapped how the team found deals, scored them, and moved them through the pipeline. Most of the bottleneck sat in the early stages: finding companies, pulling data from multiple sources, doing the first-pass on fit. We scoped integrations with Crunchbase, PitchBook, and two niche databases the fund relied on heavily.
